Academic Background
BA (Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo), MA, PhD (Johns Hopkins University)

Prior to joining WLU, Migiwa was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Toronto, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's School of Business and Management. She also worked as an Economist for the Bank of Japan's Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies, as a Consultant for the World Bank, and an Analyst for Lehman Brothers (Tokyo).
