The Student Wellness Centre on the Waterloo Campus is the new home for all physical, emotional and mental health services on campus.  This summer, we integrated into a multi-disciplinary team to offer comprehensive, collaborative service that will help students get the best support in the most seamless and coordinated manner possible.


WELLNESS CENTRE SURVEY:  

Laurier is seeking feedback on students’ awareness and use of the new Student Wellness Centre on the Waterloo Campus. The anonymous survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete and is completely voluntary. Participants are eligible to be entered into a draw for one of five $100 gift cards from the Laurier Bookstore.The survey closes January 30, 2015, and gift card winners will be notified February 6, 2015.

If you are experiencing illness (new cough or cold), please call the Student Wellness Centre first to receive advice on treatment options and an appointment.  Please call ahead (519-884-0710 ext. 3146) and notify staff if you have visited the West African countries of Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone.

REGULAR OFFICE HOURS:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:30am to 7:30pm
  • Thursday and Friday: 8:30am to 4:15pm

OFFICE CLOSURES:

  • Mon Feb 16, 2015 - closed for Family Day
  • Tues Feb 17 - Fri Feb 20 2015 - Open 8:30am-4:15pm. Closed 12-1pm. No evening hours.

What to Expect When You Come to the New Student Wellness Centre:

  • A completely renovated space that has been designed specifically to make you feel welcomed and comfortable when you visit us.
  • A shared reception area for all of our services where you will check-in, schedule appointments or seek urgent support.
  • You will be asked to swipe your health card every time you visit the Student Wellness Centre, so don’t forget it!

Please note that if the University is closed due to inclement weather, the Student Wellness Centre will also be closed.
