Academic Background
Dr. Foster received his PHD from the University of Waterloo in 2002. Academic interests include existentialism, ethics and Moral Psychology. My research has been in the area of love and personal identity. I have published articles on this topic in The Journal of Philosophical Psychology(forthcoming), Ethical Theory and Moral Practice (2009) and Dialogue (2008). I am currently working on a book project tentatively titled Romantic Love: Alienation and Identification.
