Carolyn Neumann VanderBurgh received her Bachelor of Music Education from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education from Brock University, and a Master of Arts in Music Education (Choral Concentration) from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. She enjoys her involvement in elementary music education and is the President of the Kodály Society of Canada (www.kodalysocietyofcanada.ca) as well as a sessional instructor at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has been active as a clinician at provincial, national as well as international workshops and conferences. She is also the conductor of the Inter-Mennonite Children’s Choir (www.mennosingers.com/imcc) and was invited to conduct the WLU Alumni Choir in 2012 and 2013. Carolyn is on maternity leave from her teaching position with the Waterloo Regional District School Board with her two sons Joshua and Daniel.
