The Central Academic Unit (CAU), located on the Brantford Campus, functions to coordinate academic activities that serve all faculties on the Brantford Campus. Recognizing the multi-campus nature of Laurier, the CAU coordinates existing program initiatives between campuses, including program development.
Dr. Kate Carter, Inter-Faculty Associate Dean: Academic Coordination, is responsible for academic coordination – including academic advising – of intersecting faculties.
Dr. Lauren Eisler, Inter-Faculty Associate Dean: Academic Development, facilitates and guides new program development within and among faculties.
The Associate Deans report to the Office of the Vice-President: Academic & Provost to reflect their university-wide mandate and to provide a day-to-day presence in Brantford for the Office of the VPA.
