Biography
I was born and raised in Bulgaria. I moved to Canada when I was 16 years old and lived in Mississauga throughout high school. I have lived in Brantford for almost 7 years now. I am a Laurier Brantford graduate. I started my undergraduate degree as a Criminology student but after taking a few Leadership classes I decided that Leadership was my passion. I graduate from Laurier, Brantford Campus in 2010 with a degree in Leadership and minor in Criminology.
During my studies, I was involved with in many aspects on campus, including the Student Conduct Board and the Rotaract club. I also worked for the Career and Development Centre, Student Affairs and often volunteered with Accessible Learning.
Working with students has always been my passion and I was very excited to be given the opportunity to continue my work with students immediately after graduation. I currently work for Laurier English & Academic Foundation (LEAF) Program at the Brantford Campus. Our program offers academic level ESL classes for international students interested in studying at Laurier.
In my spare time I like to go out for walks with my husband and baby boy, pick up a new crafts project or just relax in the sun.
