Biography

I am a former international student hailing from Dukhan, Qatar, a small beach-side oil town in the Arabian Gulf. My Canadian experience has been one of snow adventures, meeting fantastic friendly people and being fortunate enough to meet wonderful mentors who have taken me under their wing.

Upon graduating from The University of Western Ontario in 2008, I have had the opportunity to work in student affairs at three major Canadian universities, including McMaster and now Wilfrid Laurier. I found my fit at Laurier and have been fortunate to experience what it means to belong to a strong, values-driven campus community. I have gained rich experience in Residence Life, Graduate studies and International Recruitment & Admissions.

As of November 2011 I have become a Canadian permanent resident. Waterloo is a wonderful intelligent city and one I now officially call home. I look forward to assisting you as you embark on your own Canadian adventure!
