As a music therapy clinician and educator, Deborah explores the interface between music therapy and mental health. In addition to her role at Wilfrid Laurier Univeristy, Deborah provides supervision for professional music therapists and music therapy interns from across Canada seeking accreditation with the Canadian Association for Music Therapy. Deborah’s past research investigated the experience of clinical improvisation through arts-based methodology. Deborah maintains a private practice in music therapy specializing in mental health and trauma recovery.
