Biography
van Dijk is working on her Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. Her proposed doctoral thesis will look at what are some factors that help individuals in their experience of transforming trauma into post-traumatic growth. van Dijk completed a Chaplaincy Residency at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton from 2010-2012. van Dijk also is an extern at Lutherwood Family Counselling Services in Cambridge. van Dijk is pursuing certification as a Pastoral Counselling Specialist through the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care.
