Biography

I began my association with Laurier as a tentative part-time student in 1998.  I was hooked from the very first course and went on to complete a degree in Global Studies and Biology.  This double major proved to be a perfect match for my interdisciplinary interests.  Upon graduation, I was fortuitously given the opportunity to fill a position in the Admissions Office – a position created to assist international applicants and expedite the admission process.  I have been connected to international admissions ever since.  As a result, I have had the privilege of working with some pretty amazing and intrepid global scholars in the truest sense - and the payoff has been the many opportunities to connect with our international students from before the point of admission straight through to convocation, and beyond.  It is doubly rewarding to work with many of the truly special people across departments who make Laurier what it is - next to our students, they are its greatest resource!
