The AVP:T&L provides senior leadership and support to Laurier's vision of excellence in teaching and learning and student development. Consistent with this vision, the AVP:T&L is committed to promoting the integration of research-based pedagogies and highly effective student learning and developmental practices.
Collaboration with academic and professional colleagues is essential to nurturing a student success oriented teaching and learning culture and this work is greatly assisted by the wise counsel and creative ideas of members of a university-wide Teaching and Learning Council.
