Biography
Dr. Charity Parr-Vasquez joined Wilfrid Laurier University in 2012. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a PhD in Food Science, where she conducted research on malarial enzymes. After graduation, she joined the Advanced Foods and Materials Network, a Network of Centres of Excellence, as the Project Outcomes Manager. In this role, Charity managed the Network's research program and its international outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Assists faculty in the Natural Sciences with finding funding opportunities through NSERC, CIHR, and other agencies
- Assists faculty with developing grant proposals and applications
