Biography
Dr Pat Rogers was appointed for a five-year term as the Associate Vice-President of Teaching and Learning in October 2011. Prior to this, Dr. Rogers was the dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor. As well, she held various roles at the University of York’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics and Faculty of Education.
Dr. Rogers was the founding director for the Centre of Support of Teaching at York University. She was responsible for assessing the needs of over 3,000 faculty and providing a professional development and advocacy of teaching centre.
Dr. Rogers is the recipient of Canada’s highest award for teaching excellence at universities, the 3M National Teaching Award. She received her BA in mathematics at Oxford University, England, her MSc at York University, and her PhD from the University of Western, Ontario.
