Biography

I work with the Laurier English and Academic Foundation (LEAF) Program, where I get to know students from all over the world who are excited about living in Canada and attending Laurier.  I love helping students learn about our culture as well as study academic English and prepare for their university studies.

I've taught English as a Second Language to international students in Canada and around the world.  I have lived in Joetsu, Japan, in Tianjin, China, and in Annecy, France among other fun and interesting locations.  I studied Political Science and History at Queen's University and I have a Masters degree in Political Science/International Relations from Simon Fraser University.  In my spare time nowadays I work on renovating and restoring our old Victorian home right here in Brantford!
