Academic Background

I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Geography from McMaster University in 2007. I then went on to complete my Masters of Arts in Geography from the University of Waterloo in 2010. My field of study was immigration settlement in the Kitchener-Waterloo Metropolitan Area. I then obtained my TESL (Teach English as a Second Language) Diploma at the Canadian College of Educators in 2011.

My name is Maria Maccarrone and I was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. In my spare time, I love reading historical fiction, baking, and helping others.
