Biography
  • Globalization, internationalization, diversity and recognition
  • Institutions, organizations and leadership
  • Higher education and learning abroad
  • International development

I am interested in a variety of social issues affected by globalization and cultural interactions.

My work has focused on institutions and organizations purporting to represent Canada and Canadian interests (e.g., the Canadian military, higher education and international development projects) in the wider world.  My work on recognition, citizenship, and diversity highlights how global mobility and ethnocentrism impacts Global North-South relations.
