Academic Background

Jessica is a recent Laurier graduate with a BA Kinesiology & Physical Education and an MSc Kinesiology. She is currently pursuing her Occupational Health and Safety certificate from Conestoga College and actively working towards her Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation.

Biography

She has been working in the SHERM department for more than a year, assisting the SHERM team in developing programs and training, and with administrative tasks that are critical to the department in order to provide a high caliber of service to the Laurier community.

Her office is located at the Brantford campus and her initial responsibility will be to develop and expand the Health and Safety program at the Brantford Campus. She will also be involved in risk management, a new role that has been assigned to the department. Most importantly, she will be the key lead for SHERM at the Brantford campus, and the "go to" person for addressing issues and concerns.
