Biography

Kate Tippin (nee Brand) graduated from the University of Mississippi cum laude with a bachelor's degree in journalism (public relations) and psychology and the University of Texas at Austin with a master's degree in higher education administration (student affairs). Kate has worked in progressively senior communications roles in higher education for more than a decade, most recently at the University of Toronto where she led a large team of creative communications professionals, designers/videographers. She joined Laurier in February 2011.

At Laurier, Kate leads a talented team of proposal writers and creative professionals who strive for excellence in advancement marketing and communications.
