Academic BackgroundBSc in Psychology, University of Calgary, 1976:
MDiv, Lutheran Theological Seminary (Saskatoon),1980;
PhD in Education, University of Alberta, 2004. Dissertation Title: The Pastoral Counselling Students’ Experience of Learning To Be Present With Their Clients.
Dr. Lund began as Assistant Professor in Contextual Theology and Pastoral Counselling in 2005. She is a Specialist in Pastoral Counselling and a Pastoral Counselling Teaching Supervisor with the Canadian Association of Pastoral Practice and Education (CAPPE). She brings significant clinical and supervisory experience to her teaching.
In January 2007, Dr. Lund became the Director of the Pastoral Care and Counselling programs. Her responsibilities include supervising Master of Divinity Contextual Ministry placements and Internship experiences. She teaches courses in Parish Leadership, Christian Education, and Pastoral Counselling.
