Severe Weather Notice for Winter Term: In case of inclement weather a notice will be posted on the Laurier main homepage and an email will be sent to all faculty, staff and students with regard to any university closures. Students must check their "mylaurier" email address for this information. The Seminary will close when the WLU Waterloo campus closes.
Waterloo Lutheran Seminary played a pivotal role in my journey to ordained ministry. My studies here deepened my faith, challenged my intellect and broadened my understanding of the church's relevance in today's world. Faculty members impressed me with their scholarship and passion for sharing their learning; they were also very accessible. My time in the WLS community contributed enormously to my formation as a Christian and a pastor, and I know WLS will be there to help continually expand my knowledge and skills.
