Biography

  Academic Interests

My present research interests include: Aboriginal Health in Canada (with specific emphasis on tuberculosis); the social history of disease in North America; Canadian social and cultural history; Aboriginal peoples of North America / Native-Newcomer Relations.  More broadly, my research interests include: global health and disease (HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis), Federal and Provincial health policy in Canada, and public health in the 20th century.
