Biography

 Alex Damm's research work and teaching span several areas within the historical study of religions; these include Christian origins and the New Testament (for instance, the synoptic gospels and synoptic problem), the study of India's independence leader Mahatma Gandhi, and Christianity in India. Fascinated especially by the intersection of these areas, Alex currently is studying Gandhi's awareness and uses of New Testament tradition, and in 2012 is organizing a conference on Gandhi in a Canadian context.
