Biography

George Greer received a BMus degree in performance fro the University of Toronto. He was principal double bass with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and played with the London Symphony Orchestra. Since returning to Canada, he has been with the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet of Canada, Hamilton Philharmonic, Mainly Mozart, and Stratford Festival orchestras. He is associate principal double bass with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and principal double bass with the Mississauga Sinfonia and the Elora Festival Orchestra.
