Biography

Heidi Gallas earned a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of Western Ontario, where she studied with John Hess.  She completed an Honours Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at Wilfrid
Laurier University as a Gold Medal graduate and holds an A.R.C.T. in performance.

Heidi is a studio accompanist  / coach for voice and oboe studios at WLU.  She has worked as an Assistant Coach / Repetiteur in the 20th Century Opera and Song progamme at the Banff Centre, and as a choral accompanist for several choirs in Ontario.  Heidi is active as a freelance pianist performing frequently with instrumentalists and vocalists.  Since 1994, she has been the Director of Music at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Waterloo.
