Biography
Dr. Amy Hamilton received a BMus degree in music theory/flute performance from the Eastman School of Music, a MMus degree from Indiana University, and a DMA degree in flute from Northwestern University. She has performed with various North American organizations, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, National Ballet, San Francisco Opera Orchestra, Canadian Chamber Ensemble, and the Grand River Baroque Festival. In addition to her chamber CD, Triptyque, recorded with the Meridian Ensemble, Dr. Hamilton has recently released a new CD of Canadian flute music. Hamilton is Coordinator of Winds in the Faculty of Music.
