Anya Alexeyev received her education at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Russia, and the Royal College of Music in London, UK.
A winner of many awards, Alexeyev has performed internationally, playing numerous solo recitals, concertos, and chamber music. She has performed with some of the world’s best known orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic, BBC Philharmonic, Moscow State Symphony, Vienna Chamber, The Philharmonia, Deutschland Radio, City of Birmingham Symphony, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, English Chamber, Belgian National Symphony. She has recorded a number of CDs for EMI, Dutton and Marquis Classics labels.
While maintaining an active performing and recording schedule, she is also a dedicated teacher. Her students were top prize winners in a number of national competitions, as well as being accepted into prestigious graduate schools, such as Royal Academy of Music, England, Indiana University, USA, and New England Conservatory, USA.
Performing a wide variety of works involving piano; discovering and recording less‑known piano repertoire.
