Kathy Gruspier ('84), Bachelor of Arts, Archaeology Kathy Gruspier was the first consulting forensic anthropologist to the Chief Coroner in Ontario and continues to practice forensic anthropology, assisting police officers at homicide scenes, analyzing unidentified remains, and presenting expert evidence at trials. An expert on genocide, Gruspier was a member of the second Canadian Forensic Team to Kosovo, part of Canada’s UN contribution that investigated, exhumed and analyzed corpses. For her work, Gruspier received the Canadian Peacekeeping Service medal and the NATO medal for Kosovo.
