International Women's Day Week at WLU

International Women's Day was March 8th, but we celebrated all week!
Together with the Women's Centre, the Women's Studies Program was proud to sponsor and support several events during the week of March 6 to 12th. Events included a presentation of arpilleras in the Concourse, a talk by Brenda Halloran on feminist activism in our community, a Women's Networking Dinner (by invitation only), an Activism Fair, a Women's Studies student pub night (Wednesday, 8pm at Ethels), a student production of Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues, and a Coffee House in the Women's Centre.
