Evolution or Revolution? Canada's International Migration Policies.

The lecture benefited from a good turnout of undergraduate/ graduate students and faculty and was followed by a wide ranging discussion about how to conceptualise global migration systems that incorporate the dislocating effect of global capitalism, particularly in the area of extractive resources such as mining, a sector where Canadian corporations play a leading role.
