Working closely with operations, business development, finance and human resources team members, Réal directs NuComm's long-term strategy and vision, and is deeply involved in helping build NuComm's culture of high achievers.

Réal co-founded NuComm with his wife, Anne, in 1996. Every aspect of NuComm's operations is a reflection of Réal's exacting standards and professionalism. To this day, he is actively involved in all of NuComm's day-to-day activities.

Réal's vision and dedication to his company, employees and clients contributed to his being honored in 2002 as one of Canada's "Top 40 Under 40" corporate decision-makers and he is listed in National Register's Who's Who of Executives and Professionals. As a couple, the Bergevins were honored in 2002 at the Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year ceremony with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Established Enterprise Award.

Before co-founding NuComm, Réal graduated with a business degree (BBA'86) from Wilfrid Laurier University. He began his career in contact center management working for some of Canada's largest call center operations, including General Motors, Wardair Airlines and Rogers Cablesystems.

He later became a principal of John Moss Associates, a consulting and training company specializing in contact center management. As an innovative thinker, Réal has helped over 60 companies improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their call center operations. He successfully steered consulting projects involving strategic planning, staff management, quality management, customer service, technology applications and performance management.
