To commemorate International Day of Peace, Laurier students -- with the
help of Ten Thousand Villages -- are hosting Brantford's second annual
Local/Global Peace Festival. Fair trade goods will be for sale. Local
and global arts and culture will be showcased. Community agencies,
student groups, and nongovernmental organizations will demonstrate the
steps they are taking toward peace.
