The Alphabet Soup of Preferential Trade: CETA, TPP, and TTIP

Terry Collins-Williams, a key contributor to the work of the Centre for Trade Policy and Law (CTPL), will join a public panel discussion, tentatively titled The Alphabet Soup of Preferential Trade: CETA, TPP, and TTIP. The panel will also feature Professor John Ravenhill, newly-appointed Director of the BSIA, and Dr. Patricia Goff, Department of Political Science at Laurier. The panel will give students, faculty, and others a rare opportunity to discuss the ongoing negotiations of several very important trade agreements.
Based in Ottawa, CTPL is a leader in Canada in skills training for students in political science and law. They are particularly well-known for the simulations that they conduct on a range of international negotiations trade negotiations; climate change treaty negotiations; arctic boundary disputes; etc. as well as their short courses on policy analysis.
