Writing Circle
Apr 16/13
Time: 11:00 - 12:00
Location: ARTS 2C2
Cost: Free
The Writing Circle is co-hosted by Educational Development and the Writing Centre.
The
writing circle is meant to provide a open forum where Laurier faculty
and educators can come together from multiple disciplines to share
experiences, best practices, and lessons learned about how to develop
and integrate writing assignments into the learning environment (online
and face-to-face).
This group was established as a follow-up to the 2008 John Bean writing workshop and/or as a result of attending the 2008 writing themed annual teaching day conference. Whether or not you attended either event, we invite you to share your (or hear about your colleagues') writing assignment woes, accomplishments, best practices, lessons learned, etc.
This group meets throughout the term and there is always opportunity to share your writing triumphs and lead future discussions.
Drop in and join us.
