“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Confucius
This hands-on session is designed to help instructors take the first step to blending their courses. Participants are asked to bring an individual lesson from a previously taught course that they would be comfortable sharing with the group. The workshop will introduce instructors to a tried and true model of classroom design. Various activities, discussion, and worksheets will be incorporated into the program to support the redesign process. By the end of the workshop, each participant will feel more comfortable embarking on their journey to blending their classes. As a follow-up, participants will have the opportunity to come back together to practice and share their lessons in the Active Learning Classroom (DAWB 3-106) on the morning of April 24th. Technical support will be available to prepare for this follow-up session. Details to be announced at the workshop.
