Collaborating Across Cultures: Intercultural Communication & Group Work

BU111 Workshop
Jan 26/14

Date: Jan 26/14
Time: 12:30
Location: Library Learning Lab
Cost: No cost for undergraduate Laurier students

The most successful collaborations do not happen when everybody shares the same cultural background --   they take place when people from multiple cultures engage in group work.  For intercultural group work to be successful, participants need to know about learning styles, culturally different approaches to feedback, and ways to tap into everybody’s talents.  This two-hour session will introduce students to some basics of intercultural communication and group work.

Sunday, January 26th - 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Location:  Library Learning Lab
