We invite members of the Laurier campus community, as well as professionals from external agencies to register.
Topics Include:
1) Suicide Facts and Myths
2) Depression and Suicide
3) Risk Factors for suicide
4) Doing a suicide Risk assessment
5) How we can help someone who is suicidal
Trainers: Roger King and Cheryle Hayden, RCMP “O” Division Aboriginal Policing Section.
Cpl. Roger King and Cpl. Cheryle Hayden have 18 and 26 years of service in the RCMP respectively, and for the past 10 years have been working in the Aboriginal Policing Section. Cpl. Hayden works from the Anishinabek Police Service HQ in Garden River, Ontario and Cpl. King works from the Toronto East RCMP Detachment located in Bowmanville.
