Spin is visible from both inside and outside, employing traditional stop motion animation techniques. The resulting projection combined with directed light from varying angles creates a dazzling prismatic image. This project addresses the concepts of motion and light and by investigating their distinctive qualities, and integrating them to produce a beautiful sensory experience. The projected animation reflects a complete 365 degree study of a multi-faceted mirrored ball in constant rotation.

Scotiabank Nuit Blanche is a distinctive arts initiative that has created a greater awareness and appreciation for contemporary art by making projects fun, engaging and accessible to the public.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 29th from 7:03 p.m. to sunrise. There is no charge for the event and all are welcome to attend.
