WATERLOO: Ladies Full Moon Ceremonies

ABOUT THE CEREMONY: The full moon ceremony is a ceremony for women to gather and honour their relationship and connection to their Grandmother, the moon. Naturally it occurs during the full moon and in the evening when the moon rises. At the ceremony women spending time with each other and their Grandmother Moon for healing, rejuvenation, prayer, song and kinship. Kathy is Anishinaabekwe and has been conducting full moon ceremonies for over 20 years drawing on her Anishinaabe teachings.

LADIES: bring a skirt, shaker and/or drum, tobacco for ties
