Dr. Michael Bérubé, the Edwin Erle Sparks Professor at Penn State University, will give a talk on "The Value - and the Values - of the Humanities" at Wilfrid Laurier University on Thursday, March 21, 1 p.m. at the Paul Martin Centre.

Professor Bérubé is a noted scholar who has published several books on cultural studies, contemporary literature, disability studies, and liberal politics. He was the 2012 President of the Modern Language Association and frequently writes in both public and academic forums about pressing debates in higher education.
