Each year the Office of Educational Development hosts an annual conference for new and returning undergraduate and graduate teaching and instructional assistants (TAs/IAs). This event has a strong professional development component and is open to ALL graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in addition to TAs and IAs. The day typically consists of a formal welcome, a TA/faculty panel, and a series of concurrent workshops. Refreshments and a selection of resources are also provided.

The conference provides an opportunity to:
- network with peers and build community
- develop teaching skills
- learn from the experiences of seasoned TAs
- engage in professional development opportunities
