In 2009, the Writing Centre received an endowment in memory of Margaret Beckman, an internationally recognized expert in library management. The endowment, provided by her children, acknowledges their mother's commitment to quality writing and supports the development of student writing at WLU. The Writing Centre gratefully acknowledges this contribution of Margaret Beckman and her children.
