Work-Life Balance: Rhetoric Versus Reality

HR

published: 2012 | Presentation | Rhetoric Versus Reality talk

Linda Duxbury will also deliver a research talk: “Work-Life Balance: Rhetoric Versus Reality” at the University of Waterloo on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 1:30-2:30pm in LHI 1621.

In this talk, Duxbury synthesizes her research in the area of work-life balance so as to provide policy makers and researchers with a more objective “big picture” view of what has happened in this area in Canada in the last decade. Specifically, this talk uses survey and interview data from two national studies to dispel a number of key myths related to identifying and addressing the problem of work-life conflict.

LHI 1621, which is directly across from the entrance to the University from Columbia St.  Paid visitor parking is available in nearby lots M ($6) and N ($5). M is directly outside the building. Cick here for a campus parking map.
