published: 2012 | Teaching material | PO602
The course examines the logic of research design and methodology. It is intended for MA students who may or may not have completed a research methods course at the undergraduate level. Two main objectives are pursued: 1) familiarize students with the strengths and weaknesses of different research designs; and 2) provide students with the ability to evaluate findings that are based on empirical research. In addition, students gain some first-hand experience with data analysis.
