Network of CSL Centres in Ontario
published: 2012 | Working paper | Course/curriculum development
Service Learning, as a pedagogical approach and learning framework, values students applying classroom theory and knowledge(s) to real-life, complex problems through service. Critical reflection and reciprocity with community drive service learning experiences. Within the Province of Ontario, the Ontario Council of Academic Vice-Presidents have drafted an assessment framework that measures the skills and outcomes of graduates. This document maps service-learning outcomes across the required degree-level expectations.
