Working with Gender Variant Children

Childhood is much more complex to navigate for some children. Trans or gender variant children are a growing population in today’s society. As clinicians, we are not taught how to work effectively with these children. This lecture will introduce you to the interesting and diverse world of working with trans and/or gender variant children. Learn about the gender spectrum, what to expect when working with gender variant children and some of the ways you can learn to clinically support them.
