Case Description:   In September of 2001, Mathew Georghiou, the President and CEO of MediaSpark in Sydney, Nova Scotia, finished a phone conversation with IBM Canada.  He had just been informed that IBM was interested in exclusively carrying MediaSpark’s new product, GoVenture Entrepreneur in the Canadian market. Georghiou had been researching possible distribution channels for GoVenture in North America. The phone call with IBM completed Georghiou’s research and he now needed to sift through the information and decide how he was going to get his product to market.
