Case Description:  Case A-1: Anna, a consulting manager, had been a top performer at Global Consulting (GC) for over five years, enjoying the fast pace and long hours while catching up with personal life on the weekends. She has now been attempting a part-time consulting role for a year after having a child and is facing some significant life style choices. Although she enjoys the mix of work and time with her daughter, she is overwhelmed with the various stresses in her life and feels like she is not living up to expectations at work, at home, or with other personal commitments. She knows she needs to re-evaluate her life and make some changes. Case A-2: Chris, Anna's partner, considers his role as father and husband and his desire to make it to the next level at work. He wonders how he and Anna can jointly make these decisions while maintaining their values and respecting each others needs. Case B: Anna re-evaluates her values and priorities, and outlines some of the options that might help her find a balance that will keep her motivated and content. She needs to determine some next steps to help her reduce her stress level while making some significant decisions.
