Case Description:    WATERLOO MICROSYSTEMS INC. chronicles the marketing, human resource and financial challenges faced by a Waterloo, Ontario software development company specializing in local area networks.  Product sales were not meeting projections despite positive reviews by industry publications.  Expansion into the U.S. had not resulted in expected sales volumes and capital was becoming increasingly difficult to attract.  The newly appointed CEO, Tom D. Beynon, is determined to turn the situation at WMI around in order to ensure the organization's survival and growth in the software marketplace.
