Case Description: Les Sytkowski, the president of Sytko
International Inc. was considering the future operations of his home
building company, currently operating in Poland and Germany through a
subsidiary, Sytko Krakow. The company had been formed in 1990 by Les
and a group of other Canadian investors to capitalize on the
anticipated demand for high quality homes built with wood-frame
technology. However, things had not developed as quickly as Les had
originally anticipated.
