Case Description:    In the summer of 1999, Wilfrid Laurier University's Psychology Department advertised the availability of a faculty position.  In specifying that the position was open to women only, the ad generated a considerable amount of negative publicity and commentary.  Although the ad was written with the cooperation of the Ontario Human Rights Commission, the university must now develop a communication strategy to protect its organizational reputation and consider how to prevent a repetition of the incident.
